Noticed that my intelliph reservoir isn’t lowering much. Tested the outlet hose and it is pumping nicely. My guess is there is some clog in the acid injection fitting since not being in use during the offseason. Any tips to clean the unit out if there is a clog or blockage ? Otherwise will just order another injector fitting.

Short version: You replace it periodically.

Wonder the different between the Stenner injector side inside plumbing that has a nozzle like tip vs. wide open Pentair

I found there to be little to no difference in the function of the two

Swapped out with Stenner model... the model had a little drip around base... not where threads are but the next section up... Gave it a little turn in the mid section and it seems to have sealed up the little drip an inch above the bottom threads..

Will be monitoring the IntelliPH reservoir to see if it starts going down and injector check valve was the solution which i'm 99.9% sure based on all other areas working just fine.

How much liquid do you all get when the pump pumps through the hose right before the check valve....?

I can see a good amount pumping just curious if there is a required amount of flow in order to make the injector work.

I found this in one of the Amazon reviews for this Stenner Injector used on a IntelliPH

"The Stenner Pump Company Injection Check Valve 1/4-Inch is designed for use with various systems. However, one customer mentioned that it may require too much pressure to flow when used with IntelliPH."
"Bought to use with IntelliPH, but it won't make it through (takes too much pressure to flow)."

Hmm... Well I'm going to see over this week if the reservoir lowers from where i marked... not sure if this Steener check valve design is slightly different than the Pentair version that has me in a situation with flow in my plumbing and check valve not being able to disperse due to water pressure / check valve type.

What percent do you have your acid dispense set at? Mine is currently running @20% so the level change over a couple days is tiny.
Did you change out your pump tube as well (pentair says to change annually, I checked mine annually and changed at 2yrs)

The pump may seem like it is pumping ok if you aren't trying to push through the check valve. With the additional backpressure of the check valve, it could cause a reduced flow.

Thanks Jeff. I ordered these with the new Stenner injector and will be swapping out today to see how performance "hopefully" improves with just enough backpressure to push open the check valve if it isn't due to aged pumped tubes... stay tuned.

Will be interesting if swapping out the pump tube solves it... and if so wonder if it was really my injector check valve or just the tubes didn't provide enough pressure to start with based on age. Here is a pic of my used tube replaced with new in the IntelliPH.
