Has anyone done this? My exposed aggregate patio around the pool is pretty rough on the feet. Plus the aggregate seems to trap dirt.
For stamped concrete they clean the concrete, roll on a bonding agent, put a thin layer of concrete (about 1" or less), then stamp and color it.
There's also a thin concrete refinishing product called Ardex they could put on the pool coping pieces to give them the look of new concrete. Seen it on my neighors front patio and it looks really nice. Goes on thin, ~1/16-1/8".
