Oh my! What great advice to clean out the light housings. As soon as I opened the shallow-end light this morning, I stopped and hooked up my vacuum hose to remove the piles inside the housing and also couldn't believe the - for lack of a better word - scum coat of algae? that was around the rubber parts of the light fixture. Then vacuuming up the housings I felt like I was on that TV show where they vacuum up gold in Alaska...ya know, except I was vacuuming algae in 84 degree beautiful pool water. Still a lot of fun cleaning them out...weird? Also took pictures of the light labels inside so if a bulb burns out, I don't have to go back under for it. Now, have to go backwash the filter for all the "stuff" that is sitting in there. Thanks again dakemi (and everyone) as it was all the hard work that you were putting in that made me get serious about getting this SLAM done correctly.

I know with my lights, you just flip the switch on for a single light color; for changing colors...turn light on; then off; then on again.
