Tear in pool liner

I just found a quarter size hole on bottom of pool, I noticed it because I found water underneath the liner. It’s Sunday night so I’m curious if there is anything I could do right now to stop the damage or will it be fine if I wait until tomorrow to call a repair company.

Can you put an upside down bowl or Tupperware or similar over it? Might need to put something on top to weight it down. It won't be a perfect seal but better than nothing.

Ok I just did that with a 25 pound weight on it, any other ideas?

once it’s repaired, are you able to get the water out from under it?

So I’ve been having trouble finding someone to come repair it, either they are booked up or don’t offer the service. Is this something I can do by myself? Or should I wait to have a professional do it ? I feel like waiting may create more issues with the liner.

This stuff is Amazing, sticks very well. sometimes hard to pull off, just a thought !

It's about 6 inches wide.

Thank you, my hole is underwater and the black tape would look pretty bad in there.
