“Tangle free cord” active 20

Do you leave it in the pool all the time? I find taking mine out, at least once a week, and laying the cord straight on the deck and letting it bake in the sun for an hour or two really helps.

I also make sure I only put the minimum amount of cord necessary in the pool.

No it goes on my caddy and back in the pool shed. Typically untangle the loops every 2-3 runs. Just thought it was funny i had to unhook my tangle free cord to get the knot undone

And that unit has a swivel, engineers need to redesign that swivel. I leave mine in the pool a lot if not swimming but I untangle cord and clean the filters after 3 runs so it is usually every other day. I also keep a solar cover on while it is running.

It probably was scrubbing the waterline and somehow scrubbed across the cord... thats the only thing I can come up with.

That's exactly how it happens. If not for the silly climb and 'scrub the wall' trick it would not happen.
