TA and pH slightly high. But experiencing no issues.

My TA is 140 and my pH is 7.8. I am not experiencing any issues. Should I still attempt to lower my Total Alkalinity and pH slightly?

Assuming all your levels are good don't worry about the TA. When you bring the PH down some it'll also bring some TA down with it and eventually be within reason. Don't try to drop the PH in large amounts, say aim for 7.5 with the pool math app using mutatic acid and you will be fine.

It'll hit 8.0 pH soon enough and then you can add some acid.

Or as the say in the pool store, "If it ain't broke, keep fixing it 'til it is!"

Yes, you add the MA in front of a return just like liquid chlorine.
