Hi All,

I am experiencing some PH rise ever since I increased my CYA from 52 to 62. When I was at the lower CYA, my PH would basically sit at 7.6. These are my current readings.
FC - 5.7
TA - 69
CYA - 62
PH- 7.8 and rising.
CH-395
I am wondering if anyone has any advice about how to find the balance point.
Thank all!

OK -- numbers must be from the color thing.

Raising you CYA did not push your pH higher. It is slightly acidic and would have lowered pH when added.

How much MA do you dose? And from where to where, i.e. 7.4 -> 7.8? Is it every couple of days? Tell us a little more?

It doses automatically using Sense and Dispense. It has timed out after 60
Minutes at least three times today. The set point is at 7.8 (calibrated) and it keeps rising to 8.1.

Some of the automation users will have to advise. I dose MA manually. It appears we use the same .3 drop. I dose at 7.9 down to 7.6 two days later I have to do it again.
