I have an older perplex ec4oac that I cannot get the De to work right anymore. I want to switch to a Hayward cartridge filter and still use the hayward pump basket etc. The pump is 1 hp, 60 gpm. I am thinking there is a cartridge unit out there that will accept the union between the perflex and a new cartridge.

I would suggest you call Inyopools tomorrow to see what will fit with the least plumbing. Get the biggest cartridge filter you can afford and fit in the space.
