The EasyTouch with ScreenLogic as specified in your quote is old technology. You will think you're back in the 1980s when you see it.

See if you can get your pool builder to strike those and substitute the newer IntelliCenter automation system.

Thanks for the tip.I sent him a text and let him know.

I will look into that,I'm surprised the builders don't recommend a The saltwater Chlorine generators, from the little read-up on it seems like an easy installation.

Few pool builders have any clue about water sanitation. The vast majority of pool owners hire a maintenance company and have no clue about the pool water chemistry. Which they pay for and swim in very uncomfortable pool water.

Any recommendations on the spa? I was going to ask if they could install 10 jets. One for the upper back and one for the lower back. I would like to get as many therapeutic benefits from the spas as I can.

The pool is expensive enough I'm going to learn how to maintain my pool.

What type of lights are specified? You'll probably want Pentair MicroBrites. You'll also want more than two.

Ditch the suction-side cleaner and get a robot. Marina Pool & Spa is the go-to place to shop for those.

3.5' is a little shallow. I'd suggest increasing the depth of the shallow end to 4'.

If you're comparing the spa to a stand alone hot tub you're in for a surprise. While it's a nice place to hang out they're vastly different.

I agree with Wireform
Custom build hot tub that are build like building a small concrete pool are difficult to really make therapeutic. They can be a nice place to relax and have a few massage gets but if you really care about therapeutic you should look for molded hot tub meant to be installed in the ground. Those are like standalone spa inside so you will get the benefit of the stand alone spa.

Of course custom build spa that match the pool is prettier is this is what you value the most.

Thanks for the tip for SWG. I would have never asked bout it if it wasn't for this forum. .$2400 more to add it, well worth the money.

Best SWG On the market for Gunite pool? (New Build) I’m sure there’s a thread somewhere in this forum on this topic
Best is relative. The material of the pool will make no difference for the SWG. Are you DIYing or hiring someone? Any automation?
