Superflo Impeller won't turn with diffuser on.

I just installed a new motor. The motor has power and the impeller turns until I put the diffuser on. Then the impeller won't turn. The diffuser only goes on one way and I can't see any damage or blockage that would cause the impeller not to turn. Diffuser off it works, diffuser on the motor buzzes and nothing moves.

Posted 30 minutes later: No sooner did I finish posting than I figured it out. Impeller wasn't all the way screwed in. It was sticking out to far and rubbed when the diffuser was installed. Problem solved.

I would suspect that the seal is not installed correctly preventing the impeller from screwing all the way down.
