I have an in-ground pool that was originally concrete but was resurfaced with fiberglass by the previous homeowner. It also came with a Hayward Blu cleaner with concrete shoes. The old cleaner is not doing well even after replacing the shoes so I'm looking to get a new one. I would like to stick to a suction type cleaner but all I see from Hayward is either concrete or vinyl. Any suggestions? Should I buy one for vinyl?

I tried the Pool Cleaner (used to be Poolvergnuegen). Could not get it to work on our fiberglass pool. Bought an entry level robot, Active20. $700. Works great. Climbs walls. Runs along the water line, etc.
