Spa Spillway Design - too late to correct this PB mistake?

They were able to remove the travertine edge and chisel at the spa wall to make it flush with the spillway. Then they reinstalled a new tile line that is also flush.
No water in the pool yet due to delays in the pebble installation, but I think the spillway error had been fixed. Will see how it looks after the water..
