Spa return jet question

I think I have what should be a fairly easy question for the TFP forum.
My spa has 5 returns. Appears the eyeball jets or whatever go there crumbled/deteriorated away over time with the previous owners.

Question is; what are the appropriate / intended fittings to go here?
I’ve found a couple options that will work I’m just curious what’s intended to go there.

What I found are the typical eyeball directional flow inlet fitting (see attached photo)

If this is the correct fitting, what size outlet? They come in 1/2” to 1”.

No photo attached.

There is no standard. You have to show us what you have and the size pipes you have. Are they threaded or press fit?

yep, thanks----I know how to get them in and out. Question was, what's the appropriate/intended fitting to install....they make one's that spin and they make these....is there one that is intended for spas or is it just dealers choice and you pick one.

Nothing special for spas. Pick the size and style that gives you the flow you like.
