Anyone have a Saltron Mini that could give me the accurate dimensions of the cell? Trying to determine what size opening it would fit through, so its largest points would be helpful too. Thanks!

Here’s my best attempt- also remember the cell doesn’t plug in on both sides of the cord so u have to fish it through- including the little plastic nut on the end which looks to be 5/8” - 3/4” around- mine is running right now so I didn’t wanna unplug it.

That works! Extra points for creative use of emojis. Thank you!

The bottom will come off (so u can inspect the cell) but I usually never take it off. It is the most narrow part so it probably won’t be of much help to remove it. I leave mine hanging over the side of my tub because it won’t fit in my filter compartment (it has a single filter w/ a venturi weir) but people with those enclosed compartments can sometimes fit it in there.

I'm not much bigger at 310 gallons.

I ordered it.

I really wanted the Controlomatic SmarterSpa Inline, but at over twice the price and much less availability, oh well... maybe next time!

I wasn’t really ready to fool with that plumbing - & the control box for those isn’t very weather proof. Mine is under a covered patio but definitely gets sun & rain/snow exposure- i have the box mounted to the pole of the patio. 3 yrs in & it seems to still be in good shape except for the sticker.

Nice. I have a "back side" on the tub that faces the house. I'll probably mount the controller there. It is somewhat protected at that location.

Have to get a salt test kit and some salt now :)

Right now I have @ 1hr 2x’s a day (12 hrs apart) I have it plugged into a simple timer
Probably will change it soon to 3x’s a day since cooler weather is coming & i’ll be using it more . In the winter when we use it multiple times a day i’ll have it on 4hrs total (1hr 4x’s/day) - i like it set on 1 hr so i can just hit the button & make it come on without totally changing my daily output settings. It also allows for pretty even fc levels vs a 4hr chunk of high fc & then fc may be too low before it comes on again in 24hrs.

So I put a wireless (Z-Wave) module on the Saltron power cord so I can have it run whenever I want and for as long or short as I like (within the length of time the Saltron provides). I set it to run 1.5hrs at 2AM and 1.5hrs at 2PM to start with. Will see where it goes from there. I suspect that might be a little too much run time for 310 gallons, but I would rather it be a little too much than run out of CL while I dial it in.

Seems like the 3 hours a day is darn near spot on. CL has been around 3.5-3.6 for the last several days without hot tub use or CL additions. Did have to drop in an ounce of MA to nudge pH down a little
