Once completed it will have an unobstructed 180 degree view of the the Pacific.
The block wall is hanging there with at least a 20' gap to the ground below. The picture does not do it justice

Was just looking at this thread and some of your design and construction work.
Very impressive especially since you self perform a lot of work.
Wish I had some of your energy... I did build my own pool but am getting older and tired.

I can't imagine how gut wrenching this must have been for the homeowners and the cost to repair likely caused them to walk away.

Shouldn't be an issue so long as it's done correctly. The way I would plan to fix it would correct the soils issues instead of just building a house on caissons like others have done in the area.
