This can vary. Some see very little rise in CC while others, depending on the water history, see a decent spike. Either way, it's nothing to be obsessed about. Maintain an FC of 24 based on a rounded-up CYA of 60 and SLAM away. Make sure to brush as often as your schedule allows to keep the algae and bio-film disturbed for best results. Consistency and some pool owner patience in the process is good.Any thoughts on how high CC will go?
No reason to test CC during the SLAM process. Only at the end when you do your OCLT.
