Has your pressure increased to 25% of clean pressure or really close to that ? -
I usually do it twice - backwash until clear, rinse a few seconds then rest & do the process again. You’d be surprised what comes out the second time. Also when you get done with this slam you may want to do a deep cleaning of your sand. Deep Cleaning a Sand Filter

During OCLT do I continue running the pump24/7?

It's crystal clear!! I need to vacuum once more and then I was going to post a set of progressive pictures.
