I'm back! Have been SLAMing since Monday, late afternoon. My water looks awesome! According to directions, I am not yet finished. This is day 3. What is the range for how many days it COULD take? I'm not in a hurry, just wondering.

You're doing great! Time to open a POP (Pool Owner Patience) and keep SLAM-ing until you can pass the OCLT. Here's the link to read about the OCLT: Pool School - Perform the Overnight FC Loss Test (OCLT).
Do not be concerned over how long it will take to completely rid your pool of algae. It didn't grow overnight and it won't be eradicated overnight. Do not stop the SLAM process until you can pass the OCLT. You're well on your way to clean and clear, algae-free pool.
I know I am getting a little ahead of myself,but when I am done SLAMing and I am allowing the FC level to drift down, how soon can we swim? Its supposed to be 100 degrees the next few days!
