Slam process

I’m a newbie to the TFP forums and I’m in the process of slamming my 24 round above ground pool 13,000 gals on Sat. Had allot of storms my pool water is crystal clear but my FC readings were low and I was losing allot of FC when I tested daily I did the overnight loss test and I lost about 4 ppm I’m using a Taylor 2006 test kit my reading before I started were as follows:
FC-4..5
Cya-50
CC-.50
PH-7.6
TA-100
CH-200
Question with clear pool water and no signs of visible algae how long will it take to keep slamming I have only a weekend to do this I probably went thru 5 gals of bleach and it’s calling for another 2 gals and 2 quarts to get to the 20 ppm at this time of day 4pm
Any help would be appreciated.

You need to pass all criteria to finish SLAM Process one of them is Overnight Chlorine Loss Test.

Do I need to OCLT every night while I’m slamming?

No, you need first Clean and clear water and no FC loss, then you do the oclt, if you pass you stop slaming and let the FC drop to normal levels for your CYA.

No you do not do a OCLT every night.
I suggest you read ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry and consider reviewing the entire Pool School eBook.
