I haven't seen that light. Do not remove the screws. The plate likely rotates allowing removal of the light.

@1poolman1, @ajw22 You guys know the brand of this light and if/how it can be removed. I assume the center plate rotates 1/4 turn.

I scrubbed mine with spray cleanser with bleach, then sat it out in the sun for hours. Another scrub with bleach and rinse real well.

The back of the foam is contrasted - all white. That yellow ish tint on front of foam any concern?

So, all three lights have been opened and scrubbed to best extent. One had some small black stuff that came out.

New problem: 1 of the 3 wasn’t properly attached to the plastic end cap, so it’s kind of pushed into the tube. I need to hook and pull it out some but aren’t having any luck. Any thoughts or ideas?

Got it situated. Used two flatheads to gently pull it back - got it back in.
Consider the 3 accents scrubbed!

Hit the drain covers again. Some sandy stuff had settled down in each of the 2 drains.

Took a bottle of bleach and opened it up near each - pump was running and it captured it in.

Passed OCLT. Still seeing small amounts of whatever this is. But much less.

How much should I worry about poles and hoses? I am tossing an old vac hose and have replaced with a new one. The old one sat out in elements for years.

I have an older telescopic pole that I am still using to brush. It’s seen better days - thinking to replace out of caution. Would love feedback if anyone has any experience.

Pool equipment generally dries out. It gets slam water. If you want to be safe, run a bottle brush, or rage through the pole.

Unrelated but maybe not -
Just realized I had my salt cell set on t-15. I have a t-9. Any idea if this may have contributed to my issue? I have been swearing up and down the SWG just isn’t kicking out FC like it has the first three years (I’m in year 4).

FWIW, the salt reading on the board went from 3400 to 4200. Yikes ….
