Slam day 6- slow moving

How often are you testing and replacing FC?

Every 2 hours but it’s barely dropping below 1 ppm in 24 hours. The whole system is 3 years old.

Thoughts on phosphate remover if phosphates are high?
 
Phosphate removers are not going to help.

Can you go into pool math, gear in the upper right, scroll to the bottom and enable sharing with TFP so we can see your logs...

I don’t log them in the system. But yesterdays numbers were
AK 50
PH was lowered to 7.2 upon starting slam
Cya 40
FC keeping at 16
CC .5
Calcium 70

How many OCLTs have your performed where you passed.

How often are you checking FC and what is the typical loss (sorry, don't want to go back through 5 pages to find it)
 
So we made it to blue after 2+ full weeks. Water is still cloudy. I’ve been keeping up with slam levels. This coming Monday be 3 week of slam. Should it really still be taking this long to get to totally clear?

This is one of the few times we might recommend a clarifier. HOWEVER, you should use a high quality one. We only recommend Sea klear Chitosan clarifier…might be expensive, but will not cause issues other clarifiers will….

After putting in the pool, what are the rest of the instructions? I’ve never used clarifier.
 
Follow the instructions on the bottle. Make sure you get Sea Klear Chitosan. It is not for continual usage...don't get in the habit.
