Skimmer socks and sock

Hi everyone. Should you shock the pool when you are using a skimmer sock?

Pool shock and skimmer socks really have nothing to do with one another.. I'm sure it is just me, but I don't fully understand the question.

Tell me more.

Just for reference.. If you follow the TFP pool care process, you would never have to add shock to your pool again.

You should not add pool shock through your pool skimmer as you risk blowing up your filtration system.
