Simple Floor return for spa?

We have a spa with its own returns. The spa returns via the floor, and via three wall aerator eyeballs. The spa floor return consists of perforated PVC pipe. There are about 30 small holes along the length of the pipe to provide a spa floor jet feature (which we never use). This perforated piping is failing and causing concrete corrosion issues. I am ripping it out and will patch the void. I need to put in a simple return where I cut off the PVC pipe, as the wall eye jets are insufficient on their own during general circulation. What type of return should I use?

I will be tiling (or possible pebblecreting)
 
Why would not just circulating through the normal spa jets not work?

Let's see if anyone else can provide some ideas.

The three aerator jet holes are too small and provide too much resistance when pump running at 100%.
