It's a pretty controlled process. If the acid splashed that bad then something went very wrong
Something isn't right. The spa should be nearly double what you got and the pool looks much larger.
. I'm OCD too. I think building a pool helped desensitize me a bit in the end but dang if it wasn't a painful type of therapy! LolLol! Thx, the finish looks pretty good i saw one small trowel mark near the bottom of one step at the wall picture a small line from the edge of the trowel about 1-2" long. Plaster guy said tomorrow that will be fixed tomorrow. I know this is hand applied and will not be perfect, as much as i would like it to be. No pool is perfect and at night the lights show everything. This project has not cured my OCD but I am coming to grips that, on a project this big there are going to be issues. Looking back at December when they shot the pool 2" too shallow somebody on the board said if that's the worst thing that happens I am really lucky, made me laugh many times during the past 8+ month build. I have learned that if i look for a flaw I am going to find one.
I am guessing they need to be careful, not to splash any of the acid on the pavers, that would be bad! Perhaps plastic is a good idea.
