Should I add Clorox while waiting on test kit?

New 16,000 above ground pool. Water is in it. Filter will be installed in a few days. TFP-100 test kit ordered, here in 5-days.
In the meantime, anything I need to do?

Rod,

You need to use Liquid Chlorine.

Clorox Bleach works as long as it does not have any additives. It can't say easy pour or other such things.

Add enough chlorine to get to 5 ppm FC daily until you get your kit and post your first set of test results

Hey Jim, I don't think there is a chlorox bleach that doesn't have chloromax technology (polymers) anymore. Best to use liquid chlorine.
