Have not found any articles on TFP recommending use of the sanitizer sticks. But then all the negative comments have been related to the copper contained in them.
That's why just curious opinion on this one since doesn't contain copper. It does contain magnesium which could be corrosive at high levels. Not a chemist so didn't know if oxide vs sulfate made difference.
Both sticks still in box which appears will make their way to the garbage dump. I only use dichlor/chlorine and Aqua Clarity... Plus shot glass or 2 of chlorine now and then after bather load.
Toss them in the trash. The sticks are made mostly of clay with some zinc and salts added. They do nothing for the sanitation of the water. Magical spa chemicals that do nothing but make your wallet lighter.
