Losing my mind with this hot tub

Hey everyone, I am going absolutely crazy with this hot tub and I’m about to literally throw it into the middle of the street. I purchased a hot tub called an artesian 735. It has a ozonator built-in. Whenever I receive the hot tub, no one told me that I was not allowed to use bromine because of the ozonator. I have been using spa bromine pucks as my sanitizer. However, once in a while, I have been throwing in a little bit of a product called granulated bromine, which has 14% sodium bromide. After reading the label on the product says you’re not allowed to use this with an ozonator I have called literally 100 different Hot Tub store and no one knows what happens when you put sodium bromide in a hot tub with an ozonator. I am absolutely terrified as my kids have used it. I am concerned that I have done something to hurt them. Does anyone know what happens?????

Nothing bad happens except the ozone consumes the bromine.

  1. Ozone reduces bromine residual to 1 PPM. Careful not to over-brominate when paired with ozone; it's easy to do. Make sure your bromine test strips can read low-levels of bromine so you are not forced into using the typical 3-5 PPM. In high doses, ozone and bromine will eat each other up so you use more bromine, hot tub looks and smells bad, and you wonder, "what happened?" REDUCE your bromine to 1 PPM.

Hello
I live in Canada and I’ve been told bromine is banned with ozone,UV and electrolysis

I have an ozonator and I have been using bromine and also a little bit of sodium bromide for shock. I am concerned with health risks. They are involved with continuing this process why my country banned bromine?
