Do any pool company out there use equipment to get the sand out of the filter that's reliable

We usually remove sand by hand as much as we can, then use a utility wet/dry vacuum (like a ShopVac) to get the rest out of the bottom. I hope that helps to answer your question. Let us know if you have more questions. Thank you for posting.
