When the SWCG calls for salt, test with the K1766 to be sure you really need it or there is an issue with the SWCG. Many SWCG failures show themselves as low Salt readings.

Also there is a known variance of about 400 in salt readings. As Marty says, if the SWG is happy and producing as expected you should be peachy (<---Georgia reference)
