salt level testing

My panel seems to be giving me incorrect salt levels. Is the K-1766 an accurate test for salt levels?

Yes, each drop is 200ppm. Very easy, especially if you happen to have a SpeedStir. My panel also indicates a much higher reading than the K-1766.

Titration is extremely accurate, I trust my results implicitly.

Mine is just the opposite, I get higher readings with the K-1766 than my SWG controller shows. This sometimes presents a problem, as the SWG will stop generating because it shows low salinity. I actually have to keep my salt level up, to have it work correctly.

My test also reads higher than the SWG. Just make the SWG happy and use the test to monitor trends or further deviation from the panel.
