I'm closing the pool up for winter and I have been reading on these forums that people say not to clean the salt cell anymore. That actually cleaning them shortens their life expectancy. Is that true?
Thanks for the answer. So if I don't see actual scaling on the plates, don't clean. If I need to clean , muriatic acid, vinegar or clr , which is the best cleaning method to use? Thanks again.
Wooden BBQ skewers or the handles of plastic spoons from the ice cream store work well too. Anything non metal and thin so you don't scratch the plates.
