Hi TFP!
First off thanks for all the valuable resources.

Im in the process of my first SLAM and would like to remove my lights to check behind for algae.

Attached is my light switch setup.

Question being, want to make sure I’m safe to remove the lights from housing just by unplugging the power as shown? Lights are colorlogic led.

Also wondering if there is anything else I should know before unscrewing the housing.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to TFP.

Yes, you have the power disconnected from the lights with the plug pulled.

I would only pull out the lights if there are signs you need to check for algae. There are many ways it can create more problems pulling the lights unnecessarily.
