Rusted skimmer

I dont expect that it helps much, but maybe just a teeny little that you have us internet strangers. Alot of us were pretty invested in your journey and rooting for you. I also said many adult words on your behalf.

I knew I had you guys. It was a heart breaking day today. In the words of my Dad... It is what it is kid. I know he was probably dropping Fbombs too.

OMG! I was also cheering up for you, so sad. Maybe and a very far maybe, its a blessing in disguise. Life has so many twist and turns, that you may not be able to see it just now. Hoping for the best for you and your loved ones.

Thanks guys. It happened n I have to move on from it. I'm still trying to recover from all that work. My fingers n tips hurt from ducttaping the insulation board.

Funny, I now have work to do to prep for a new pool. Can I just say what the heck?! My work is never done. I will say this though. I refuse to throw away parts to this pool. I'm keeping every single top rail, post, the existing track that survived, the stabilizer bars and the caps. The reason why is because you can not purchase replacements for this pool. I'll clean them up n store them in the basement. The only thing I'll be getting rid of is the wall and the boots. I just have to figure out how to take the boots off.

Well, that was an emotional roller coaster to catch up on. YAY new liner!!! HOLY Crud, NO!! :(...... YAY helpful family members and NEW POOL!! it sucks you did all that work for nothing. If I wasn't across the country I would totally come over and hold up those walls until the liner was installed. Did I miss when the new pool would be delivered?

your perseverance is ****** amazing. you could be a rancher. my quick takeaway is...at least the ground work is already done, the rest should be cake now.
Someone called me wife material once. I told that man I wasn't anyone's freaking material but my own.

Pool is ordered n I'll assume be on it's way soon. Thank goodness that everything is done. With this being a brand new install, I'm thinking maybe I should install the beaded track I originally bought 7 years ago n never used. If I need to replace the liner down the road, I won't have to take the top rails off.

I'm really irritated over the loss of my pool. I just got off the phone with pool supply world to see when it would ship n they told me I may not get the pool til July. That's half my summer. I am so upset over this whole ordeal and having to sweat my Rear off at work to come home to a paid for pool n have nothing. I'm just so irritated over this whole situation. :brickwall:?

I need the same pool because my deck was custom fit to this pool. I have to buy a new pool because the bottom resin track broke in half. You can not find replacement parts. I've called n looked.
