So I got a small, 13 foot above ground pool (Coleman/Bestway) like this one at Lowes (~3,000 gallons) for my back yard. I got a vacuum on a pole for cleaning the bottom (~$160). I wish I could say it sucks, but it doesn't...and that's the problem. There is some suction, but hardly enough to pick anything up. It'll take a whole day to vacuum it. I'm using the small, filter pump that came with the pool. Should I invest in a vacuum robot and let it just do its thing or is it a better idea to get a more powerful pump for the pole vacuum I have? If a more powerful pump, what would you recommend? Many TIA!
