Replacing wires from timer to pool and heater

I just got a new heater an ordered a new intermatic timer. I figured I'd replace the 15+ year old wiring going to the heater and pump, but don't know what to get. I already purchased (separately) the flexible conduit, but would like to know what kind of wires I need to connect to a Hayward H15fdn heater. Is this something that I can get from Home Depot or Lowes? Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

You will need to use and follow whatever electrical codes are enforced in your area.

Wire type/size/rating is usually determined by the circuit type, load & distance traveled. The N.E.C. followed in your city should tell you what is acceptable or not.
