Replacing Old Pool Light

I have a 25 year old pool. Recently my pool light turned off suddenly and tripped the GFCI. After resetting the GFCI, the pool light no longer turns on. I assume it needs to be replaced.

The pattern on the rim of the niche looks like a Pentair Amerlite. What are my options if I want an RGB light that works with my Jandy RS8 controller? Will a Pentair RGB work with the niche for the Amerlite? Will the Jandy controller be able to change the colors? I'm assuming Jandy LEDs/niches won't fit right?

Thanks!

The Amerilite is now owned by Pentair with zero changes in size. Most LED lights from all manufacturers can be controlled, either directly from the automation (Pentair to Pentair) or with a series of on/off switching, which your Jandy can do.

Your Aqualink should support a Pentair IntelliBrite LED light that is the same size as the Amerlite.

Check your Color Light Setup page.

Sorry just clarifying, so will the Jandy Watercolor LED be able to fit into the space/hole where I pull out the old Pentair Amerlite?

The Amerilite niche is the "standard" that most other lights are made to fit. The Jandy full-size light will fit, yes.
