Remove pump propeller

I want to change bearing and seal on my old Hurlcon/Astral pump. I'm struggling to remove propeller:

I tried to block shaft and unscrew it (anti-clock), but no luck. I'm curious if any secret skills needed?

I was actually thinking about 1 or 2 hose clamps like this.

Once the clamps are on, the screws give you something for a large pair of channel lock pliers to catch onto without damaging the impeller.

You can even put a thin strip of rubber around the impeller for more grip and more protection for the impeller.

In any case, you got it, which is what matters.
