Rectangular pools

Has anyone put thier rectangular pool at an angle in the yard? We have septic lines to work with. Would it bother you? I feel my ocd would never live with it.. Pictures would be helpful.

I think it depends how you landscape around the pool to integrate the house lines and pool lines into something visually appealing.

Do you have to do rectangular or would a kidney shape fit and look better in your available space?

Maybe if you can post some pics of your plot plan and pool location it will get some creative ideas.

Assuming you live on an acreage since you have a septic system, you would definitely have plenty of room to place your pool on site at an angle. Do you have a google earth pic of your site with location of septic and pipe location? There's a fine line between setting it ascue so it looks intentional and correct vs. looking like a mistake.

Perhaps L-shape would help? Or I remember a couple of folks who had triangular pools (they had weird yards).

The pool need not be square to the house, but it needs to look like it belongs where it is. How you arrange the decking and the style of decking would be a key in my mind.
