Recommendations on replacing old pool pump

Hello - We have an old Pentair pool pump model 340038/ SF -NI-1A , which is outdated and no longer working.

Live in Ohio and I am looking for recommendations from those who may have also had to replace. I called Pentair and they recommended the SuperFlo VST model #342002.
I am wondering if anyone has gone with a different manufacturer and what they selected.
