trying to get the heater to work for this season. I have a Raypack natural gas pool heater with automatic pilot. Tried to move the pilot knob from the off position to on. Won't budge, it actually broke. I purchased a new knob and installed it but it still won't budge. Yes, I know you need to push down and turn but nothing works. Its as if it was never ment to turn. I've cleaned it out and even sprayed WD-40, it goes up and down easily with no obstruction but it just won't turn. This is an older heater so replacing expensive parts just isn't worth it. I would love to get a last season out of it, if only I can get the stupid knob to turn. Does anyone have any ideas or recommendations?
