Hello TFP,

I am 1 day away from getting my 14x22 radiant metric freeform semi-inground pool installed. I am all set for now: permit, installer scheduled, TF100 kit/magnetic stirrer in box and ready to be open and used. Big shout out to MMM923 for all your advice and time. I figured I'd start the post and share my install experience. I am definitely a first timer and solicited the advice of all the experts on this site. I am sure I'll be asking 1,000 more questions once the water is in. Now it's time to dive right in.

Thank you

Congrats on the new pool and getting the best test kit out there. I would suggest running a test today on your fill water, to see what your baseline is. It will give you an idea of what you need to add or have ready to go chemical wise. There won't be any cya in fill water so don't worry about testing that. If you're going to fill from a well, do you know if it contains metals?

Do you have some chlorine and stabilizer on hand?

Done for the day: walls up, concrete collar around the pool and steps, liner is in and a foot of water is going in. The yards a mess but at least the pool is in. Now I need to wait till Monday to call the town inspector for the concrete inspection then we can backfill and hard pipe all the equipment Tuesday. On Wednesday I have my electrician to come in to bond and hook up the power and LED lights. I think I am going to take a dip next weekend. Hope the inspector is in a good mood Monday.
