Lol. Just had the inspector here and passed the first inspection. That was painless. Now we can go ahead and backfill. They should be coming tomorrow to fill and plumb all the equipment. Getting real close!

Took a dip for the first time last night. I vacuumed out the pool and water looks crystal clear. I just posted my first reading after the fill. Now I need to read up on how to maintain the pool. I still have a way to go but at least I can go in. By the way I bought the PoolSkim skimmer and works great. I just need to adjust it a bit but so far so good. I was told I can start using a soaker hose to help with settling of the backfill but that was a total mess. Gets really soft and muddy. Before my deck goes in I think I am going to pick up some free pallets from Home Depot to give me a walkway to my steps and I actually have to build a set of steps to get into my steps today.
