Question about ideal versus recommended levels

I appreciate all the help I’ve gotten from this site so much! I feel like if I had been following the pole star recommendations I would’ve been adding gallons of chemicals!
I feel like I’m on the right track but want to make sure that I am adjusting things correctly. Today’s results are-

FC 6
pH 8.0
CH 200
TA 90
CYA 4

Should I be adding chemicals if I am in the “recommended“ range but not in the “ideal“ range?
Pool Math is telling me that I should lower the pH, though it has my recommended range going up to 8.0. Should I go ahead and lower it a bit?
TA is also at the top end of the “recommended“ range, though not in the ideal range and they recommend lowering that as well.

CYA is low still, so I am going to add more of that.

Thanks !

I assume the CYA of 4 is a typo ---

pH at 8 would be best to lower to 7.6.
TA is fine.

The ranges are guidelines. pH and FC are important to keep with in the ranges.
TA, CH, not so much. Depends on your system. CH in a plaster pool is important. Other types of pools, only high CH is an issue.
