This is our 1st winter with a pool and I have diligently montiored and tried to keep all of my levels with the Ideal Range, and definitely(Recommended Range) in my Pool Math App, but am perplexed at how much the cold water impacts this.

Current levels:
FC: 5.2
CYA: 70
Ph: 7.6
TA: 60
CH: 160
Salt: 3400
Water Temp: 52

Aside from the Temp, which varies, these figures have been very consistent.

My quesiton is, do I chase the CSI # or keep my levels within the ideal range?

No. You have a vinyl liner. The only issue would be for your SWCG if the CSI is above 0 and you get scaling. But you are not using your SWCG right now.

Your current levels are fine.

I would suggest you turn off Tracking CSI. It is not a concern for you with low CH water.
