I was looking at the pool PVC pipes and noticed the glue that bond the PVC pipe together is getting a dark brown color. I assume it is from the salt water but not sure. Should I be concern? I don't see any water leaking just the discolor.

The pool company build the pool and did all the plumbing so I'm not sure what bond they used. I'm just curious if that is usual or something I should be concern about.

They should have cleaned the glue off from the exterior of the joint. The sun degrades the exposed glue. A plumber told me the degrading exposed glue can lead to failure eventually but I’m not sure if that’s true as the glue doing all the work is inside the joint. But it looks less sloppy if they it clean before it dries.

As @Bperry said I don't believe the glue joint is compromised due to the sloppy glue in view. The bond is actually a pvc weld and just by the look of the bead there was plenty in there to do the work. I wouldn't worry as I've seen many ugly joints last forever. Some spray paint will make it look perfect.

Thank you

You can always paint all your PVC.
Here in AZ, most all exposed PVC piping is painted as the sun's UV rays do a number on it.
You can use spray paint or even exterior house paint you might have sitting around.

Pool is 4 years old so I am hoping it is not to be concern about. thanks
Usually that happens with clear PVC cement, but I've seen thin layers of blue-glue do the same in constant sunlight.
Best advice here has been paint the pipes. I use the least expensive Home Depot flat black. It lasts as long as the more expensive brands like Krylon that I've had to get when the other wasn't available.
Keep it off the pump lid and pressure gauge assembly of the filter.
