Yup, you're right. I am following it now. Most of those timers don't actually work on 240, they are 120 to the wifi functionality and need a neutral wire.

I still believe it's electrically related. If you have a handy neighbor or friend to check the power side of things you may save yourself some grief. Is this powered from a sub panel then the main could be the issue too.
Yes - there is a black, red, and ground coming from the panel. Black to Com1, Red to Com2. White jumpers between Come1/L, and Com2/N. Black wires out to pump from NO1 and NO2....
I'm a bit hesitant to take the pump apart right now... Allegedly, our installer will be here "before Friday" to figure out what the problem is. I'm already suspicious he will say warrant won't cover this because the timer was installed. They have been really frustrating to work with since right before the pool install was complete. We were so happy to find them.....unfortunately, their end of install/after install service and communication has been really, really awful.
Hey ya'll...so our pool company came out yesterday to take a look at the pump. They claimed that since it was connected to the wi-fi enabled switch/timer, that Pentair will not honor the warranty. Does that seem like a complete line of BS to you?? Seems incorrect that adding a switch would void the warranty. Remember this pump has only been operating since May 2022.
I'd appreciate your thoughts/feedback.
Also - anyone know a reputable Leisure Pools dealer? I need to order the winter cover, and really, REALLY don't want to continue to give money to the company that installed our pool.

They are gonna get you on the "requires professional installation", its a dirty trick companies pull to pad their dealer's pockets. Sounds like your dealer is going to use it to get out of doing any sort of unpaid work.
Our dealer was so great pre-sale and up to near completion. They were VERY concerned about positive reviews. Then I'm not sure what happened and they have become really, really terrible to work with. I'm trying to be patient with this....but we're going on two weeks with our pool not operating. Super frustrating...

Why can’t they get you running?
Remove your WiFi gadget and put things back the way they were. Then they cannot blame it on that. When you do something and it doesn’t work then a fix is to put it back the way it was.
Yup that's exactly what we did. Removed the timer. Pool guy originally said because it was connected to a timer, and the pump has a built in timer, the warranty would be void. The pump does not have a built in timer.
He came out yesterday, finally, after my initial contact on July 26. Went through the same troubleshooting steps I did. Determined the pump is not working correctly (but can not determine why). New one is on order...and will be here "in the next week or so."
I'm so annoyed I can't hardly keep my Darn together. I understand things happen. But. We're in week 2, and just now getting the ball rolling toward a resolution.

Are you annoyed that you got a lemon pump that had infant mortality?
Are you annoyed that your pool guy is busy int he middle of the summer and it took him a few days to get out to you?
Are you annoyed at the supply chain problems and lack of inventory so you need to wait for a replacement?
Be happy your pool guy came out to you and you have a replacement pump on order. You are doing better then many other folks we hear from here.
Are you putting 5 ppm of liquid chlorine into your pool daily?
Do you have a sump pump you can put in the pool to circulate the water around?
Yup, I have been putting 5ppm chlorine in the pool daily. The water is pretty clear. Circulating with a large water garden pump and things seem to be reasonably stable.
I'm not even annoyed that we got a lemon pump. I'm annoyed that communication has been nearly non-existent. I'm annoyed nine days after our first contact with them, someone came out and told me the same thing I told them when I originally reached out. I'm annoyed that they have three crews out building new pools, but can't spare a person to service one they have already installed.
Yes, this is absolutely a first-world problem.
And, it's still a problem.
Customer service isn't really that hard. A simple response with details of when someone will be out, and a little bit of care and urgency given we have spent over 100k on a pool that we can't use would be swell. We're not even at the supply chain issue yet...
I'm not asking for special favors or miracles. I'm asking for very basic customer service.
