Pump Pressure Big Swings

Posted this same problem about 4 months ago and thought I had it figured out by R&R the filters, but problem back again.
Here's what I have:
Pentair 4 cartridge filter system
Pentair Pump

Issue: After R&Ring filters a few months ago, pressure was right where it was supposed to be after swinging from 0-30 psi.
Noticed yesterday the water was hardly moving; pressure at 30 psi.
All I did was shutoff pump, open relief valve on top of filters and let it drain internally for a few seconds, closed valve and restarted pump.
Pressure then at 10 psi.
Shutdown and cleaned filters which weren't dirty at all JIC.
Then pressure came up to 15 psi.
This morning, sitting at 0-1 psi.
Have moved all valves to different positions.
No bubbles in return water.
Lost again on the huge swings of psi when not doing anything.

You could have the start of an algae bloom. They start virtually invisible, but can get bad quickly. Algae will also quickly clog a filter even when it can't be seen.
Also, when you removed the filter-cartridges, did you drain the debris from the tank. When you shut the pump down, or it stops for the day, a lot of the debris will fall to the bottom of the tank where it can be stirred up the next day and re-coat the cartridges.

Update: Removed all filters and runs at 10 psi.
These cartridges are only a few months old! My TDS's are high; would that clog filters that quick?
Think I'll research switching to DE or sand; my friend with a sand filter says he hasn't touched his filter in years other than to backwash.
