But you could always try to replace that capacitor on top. Remove the back cover to the motor to see if there's another cap back there as well (run & start caps). They are relatively inexpensive, so you could try that before changing the motor.
Just about any pool store online. If you do some Google searches for your current motor model number and search for that motor parts breakdown, it should give you the capacitor part numbers. Once you have those, you can often times just get them off of Amazon.Caps are purchased where?
