Pump died - Looking for new pump advice

New pool owner. 15k gallon pool. Hayward Ecostar 2.75HP just died. I do have solar panels on a single story home.
Is a certain HP needed to get the head needed to reach the roof? Other things I should look into before purchasing an alternative pump?

For a single story I had a 3/4 hp pump and the solar worked fine. That pump seems big, do you have water features?
