Pressure up after bump every 3 days

Live and learn, hoping for a trouble free pool and so glad to have found this site. I ask myself why and how come this aglae happened??Chorine was at slam level when I closed pool last year and all good readings this years opening. Water clear as all get out. I was feeling proud, I only thing I can figure is when I took the cover off I didn’t drain the water off the top trying to save on the water bill. The water was clear because I keep skimming it all winter. I won’t do it that way again, next year I will drain the cover before removing it. Can’t think of any other reason this happened? Can just spring pollen cause this? Live and learn ?

Got my refill test kit today, all weekend without, 3 gallons a day I’ve been just trying keep the FC up. Guess it’s start over time with slam. But check this mess up I did yesterday, I left my overflow drain open (forget to close) emptied below skimmer. Sucks! Filled back up now and at least pump didn’t burn up?. Ok so my CYA has probably dropped and testing it with all the bleach that’s been added lately won’t have good test results. Do I stick with the original 80 CYA and slam to 31? I did CYA test and its now 50.

Still working on it Splashpad, decided to up beach readings to 24 and my Cya 60 because my overnight test keeps dropping 3ppm. Reading the chart we were doing for non-salt water pools 50cya. I was bordering between 50 & 60 so we need to round up right?
